Ozark "Old-time" open back model - £375.00

Ozark

a new take on the "old-time" banjo from Ozark - bearing more than a passing resemblance to several classics from the 50's/60's ... it has an 11” x ½” thick walnut rim with a “White Lady” style tone ring & heavy duty chrome-plated metalwork - 24 brackets and a No-Knot tailpiece. The plating is very good. Fitted with a Renaissance head. The truss rodded walnut neck is slim with a boxwood bound rosewood fingerboard and pearl diamond position markers. The scale length is 26 ¼” with 22 frets. Modern banjo fretting, nicely done and hand-dressed for an excellent playing surface. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with good quality guitar-style sealed unit tuners and a geared 5th string peg. The neck is finished in satin lacquer which matches the body very well - the finish is very good. Overall, this banjo is well built and good value for money. It has a warm, mellow tone suitable for any open chord tuning. A good banjo which would suit a player of any standard.
