It has an 11” x ½” laminated mahogany rim with sturdy chrome plated metalwork - 24 brackets and an No-Knot-style tailpiece. The plating is good. Fitted with a Remo Fibreskyn head. The truss rodded mahogany neck is quite slim with a black bound rosewood fingerboard and dot position markers. The scale length is 26 ¼” with 22 frets. Modern banjo fretting, nicely done & hand-dressed for a good, even playing surface. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with guitar-style tuners and a geared 5th string peg. The neck is finished in gloss lacquer which matches the body - the finish is very good. Overall, this banjo is nicely made and good value for money. It has a pleasant, clear tone suitable for any open chord tuning. A neat little banjo which would suit a beginner in "old-time" styles
