a new, high-grade modern Travel or beginner’s banjo. It has an 11” x ½” maple rim with a rolled brass tone ring & sturdy chrome plated metalwork - 18 brackets and a Straightline tailpiece. The plating is very good. Fitted with a top sprayed Remo head. The truss rodded maple neck is slim with a black bound rosewood fingerboard and pearl diamond position markers. The scale length is 23 ½” with 19 frets. Modern banjo fretting in excellent condition. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with guitar style tuners and a geared 5th string peg. The neck is finished in clear matt lacquer which matches the body very well - the finish is very good. Overall, this banjo is well built and very good value for money. It has a bright tone suitable for any open chord tuning though it seems particularly happy in open “A“. An economical banjo which would suit a beginner or an experienced player needing a Travel banjo.
