Gold Tone WL250 "Lefty" open back - £665.00

Gold Tone WL250

a modern high grade banjo from Florida. It has an 11” x ½” thick maple rim with a “White Lady” style tone ring & heavy duty chrome-plated metalwork - 24 brackets and a No-Knot tailpiece. The plating is very good. Fitted with a Remo Renaissance head. The truss rodded maple neck is slim with a black bound ebony fingerboard and pearl “cloud” position markers. The fingerboard cutaway is now standard where it used to be an "extra". The scale length is 26 ¼” with 22 frets. Modern banjo fretting, nicely done & hand dresssed to provide an excellent playing surface. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with good quality vintage style planetary banjo tuners and a geared 5th string peg. The neck is finished in clear gloss lacquer which matches the body very well - the finish is very good. Overall, this banjo is very well built and looks absolutely stunning. It has a mellow, very loud tone suitable for any open chord tuning. A good banjo which would suit a player of any standard.
