a new, modern intermediate banjo from Florida. It has an 11” x ¾” maple rim with a cast flathead tone ring & heavy duty chrome-plated metalwork - 24 brackets and a Straightline tailpiece. The plating is very good. Fitted with a top sprayed Remo head. The truss rodded maple neck is slim with a black bound rosewood fingerboard and pearl diamond position markers. The scale length is 26 ¼” with 22 frets. Modern banjo fretting, nicely done & hand dressed for an excellent playing surface. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with good quality planetary banjo tuners and a geared 5th string peg. Twin co-ordinator rods for extra stability. The neck is finished in clear gloss lacquer which matches the body - the finish is very good. Overall, this banjo is very well built and very good value for money. It has a bright, very loud tone suitable for any open chord tuning. An economical banjo which would suit a beginner or an intermediate player very well.
