Ozark/Rally RB2 resonator model - £150.00

Ozark/Rally RB2 resonator model

a basic beginner‘s banjo from one of the better factories in China. It has an 11” x ½” laminated mahogany rim with sturdy chrome & nickel plated metalwork - 24 brackets and an Elton-style tailpiece. The plating is good. Fitted with a top-sprayed Remo head. The truss rodded mahogany neck is quite slim with a black bound rosewood fingerboard and dot fancy position markers. The scale length is 27” with 22 frets. Modern banjo fretting, nicely done & hand-dressed for a smooth playing surface. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with guitar-style tuners and a geared 5th string peg. The neck is finished in gloss lacquer which matches the body & resonator very well - the finish is very good. Overall, this banjo is nicely made and good value for money. It has a pleasant, clear suitable for any open chord tuning. A neat little banjo which would suit a beginner in most styles as the resonator is easily detachable for open-back use.
May be supplied with Ozark or Rally brands, according to availability - the banjos are identical except for the shape of the peghead and the brand name.
