A nice one-piece tailpiece based on a 1900's design.
The tailpiece attaches to the banjo by means of a single nut & bolt through the angle sticking out at the bottom. There are 5 studs on the back of the tailpiece for the strings to loop over. This is a nice lightweight tailpiece ideal for replacing similar tailpieces on period banjos or for use on many kinds of modern "old-time" banjo (it's a favoured style for open-back 5-strings). This version has a reproduction of the original 1901 Patent Date Stamp on the back, just under the string studs. A nice touch when fitting it to a period banjo. The string pins on this model have slots in them.
