A nice two-piece tailpiece based on a 1920's design.
The tailpiece attaches to the banjo by means of a single nut & bolt through the angle at the bottom; the cover plate is a "push-fit" into 2 "wings" at the back of the tailpiece. There are 5 string lugs in the back of the tailpiece (under the cover plate).
Although there is a screw provided in the back of the tailpiece, its function is more decorative than useful. This is a nice tailpiece ideal for replacing similar tailpieces on period banjos or for use on new build banjos (a favoured type for many "bluegrass" banjos).
