A nice two-piece tailpiece based on a 1920's design - a rather heavier and more faithful reproduction than the ones above.

The saddle attaches to the banjo by means of a single nut & bolt through the bottom; the cover plate is attached to the saddle with 2 small screws. There are 5 string studs in the back of the cover (unlike the 1920's original, there is no string cover plate on this version).

There is a screw provided in the back of the tailpiece cover to alter the angle between the saddle and the cover plate. This is a nice tailpiece ideal for replacing similar tailpieces on period banjos or for use on new build banjos - quite good for 4-string banjos owing to the string spacing. This version is a rather closer copy of the 1920's original and is made from thicker metal.
