a new basic modern beginner‘s banjo made in China. It has an 11” one-piece cast aluminium rim with sturdy chrome plated metalwork - 30 brackets and an Elton-style tailpiece. The plating is very good Fitted with a top sprayed Remo head. The truss rodded mahogany neck is quite slim with a cream bound rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot position markers. The scale length is 22 ¾” with 19 frets. Modern banjo fretting in very good condition. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with guitar-style geared tuners. The resonator is a modern convex type. The neck is finished in clear gloss lacquer which matches the resonator - the finish is nicely done. Overall, this banjo has a good sound and is very easy to play. It has a bright, clear tone and is set up for Irish GDAE tuning. A pleasant, economical banjo which would suit a beginner.
