Tailpieces

Nashville - a modern non-adjustable tailpiece, small, fits neatly over the tension ring,
easily modified to fit almost any known banjo - loop or ball end fitting.      £8.00

  Elton style - a modern reproduction of the simple pre-war Elton tailpiece with the 
flat square cover - loop or ball end fitting.                                                       £10.00

No-Knot style - an excellent reproduction of the original 1904 tailpiece, ideal for 
vintage open backs - loop end fitting only.                                                   £10.00

New Waverly style - an adjustable tailpiece with a hinged string cover, suitable
for modern banjos and some vintage models - loop end fitting only.     £15.00

Old Waverly style - a nice reproduction of the pre-war 5-string tailpiece without
the string cover - it will work on 4 string banjos as the extra hole is dead centre
and doesn't affect the string spacing - loop end fitting only.                      £18.00

Old Presto style - a nice reproduction of the pre-war 5-string tailpiece with the
string cover - it will work on 4 string banjos as the extra hole is dead centre

Clamshell style - an adjustable type bearing only a passing resemblance to the pre-war
original - heavy hinged string cover and a variety of holes and hooks to accept
different string combinations - will work for 4, 5, 6 and 8 string banjos.      £20.00

New Presto style - an adjustable version of the Old Presto type which will work
equally well for 4 or 5 string banjos - loop end fitting only                          £25.00

Kerschner style - a very heavy cast brass tailpiece which is rather longer than the 
original - fully adjustable and suitable for 4 or 5 string banjos as the extra hole is
central & doesn't affect string spacing too much.                                        £30.00

Straight-line - a modern very heavy cast tailpiece specifically designed for 5-string.
The idea is that there is no sideways pressure on the string slots in the bridge.
