Calfskin vellum banjo heads

Please scroll down the list below

10

10" unlapped Calfskin vellum banjo head for conventional or zither banjos - 10.00

A circular piece of nice quality Calfskin vellum approx 10" in diameter which will make a banjo head up to about 7" diameter. It needs to be lapped onto a flesh ring to be fitted to a banjo - a simple (& virtually foolproof) method of fitting traditional vellum can be found on the "Help Topics for Banjo Players" list. You'll find this list on the "Advice" menu in the navigation bar at the top of the page. It really is a much simpler process than many of the on-line methods would have you believe!

Conventional banjos are those which have the tensioning mechanism (usually hooks & nuts) round the outside of the circular banjo rim - as opposed to zither banjos which have the tensioning mechanism suspended inside the circular banjo rim. The price shown includes VAT and postage & packing
