5-string "A" scale banjos - shortscale

These banjos are designed for normal use and are pitched in "A" - the same as a standard "G" banjo with a capo on the 2nd fret. Ideal for playing in sessions with fiddlers! They can also be tuned down to "G" by the use of heavier strings for those who find the stretches on a standard "G" banjo to be uncomfortable. They have approx 23 ½" scale length & 11" rims; the tone tends to be very similar to standard "G" banjos.
