The Weymann Mandolin Banjo is all maple construction with a laminated rim with a solid perch pole and a coordinator rod for stability and adjustment. Original metalwork, 20 brackets and a repro "Waverley" tailpiece and armrest. The plating is nicely done & it's fitted with a vellum head. Solid maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard and "dot" position markers. The scale length is 13 ¾" with 17 frets. Vintage mandolin fretting, well executed and hand-dressed for an excellent playing surface. The action is set-up low but is adjustable as required. Fitted with original 4-on-a-plate mandolin tuners. Finished in satin lacquer, nicely done.
